birthday cake and drag queens

hiya luvs,

my dear camera has been acting up. i've resorted to stealing pictures from my friends fb. i will ofcourse give credit to where credit is due :).

my birthday dinner was just a small group of friend. wait, group sounds to big of a word, it was just a quartet of friends! yup, four of us had dinner and later went on to watch a drag show. the first quarter of the show was tame and we had good seats up high but could see the stage and performers clearly.

later fizzy and aidan had to leave because it was a workday the next day. so ina and i hung around for another friend to drop by. by then we were being entertained by the live band and made a new friend with the girl (hajar) sitting next to us.

when my friend kyan arrived, it was the second quarter of the drag show. being with kyan, i never know what to expect.. from being a passive patron dancing in the shadows, i was thrusted up on stage and being made to dance by the hostess of the evening, miss dara. i got over my fear of being in the spotlight and had a good (slightly embarrassing) time. and best of all, i got kissed from some foreign hotties too. ah! happy birthday to me!

aside from the dancing up on stage and the kissies from hard bodied swiss boys, i really owed the night to my lovely friends. despite being a weekday, they came out to have a bit of a laugh with me. much love to all that made it a special night.
